THE ANTA HUT ORDERING GUIDE

  • Drawing of a tape measure and a topographical map with elevation contours and some grass patches.

STEP 1: ARRANGE SITE VISIT / ZOOM CALL

To begin the process we start with arranging a site visit or zoom call to establish the client brief, requirements and site constraints. Usually we discuss:

    - Number of Huts required

    - How they will be used (home office, holiday lets, temporary accommodation, etc.)

    - Access into site for delivery truck/crane.

    - What services are available on site.

Zoom calls are free of charge. For site visits we charge £250 for anywhere in mainland Scotland

  • Technical drawing of a small wooden building, with a pen and overlapping photographs.

STEP 2: PLANNING PERMISSION / PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT

Depending on the use and location of your ANTA Hut, it may be required to apply to your Local Council for Statutory Consents. As a general rule, if your ANTA Hut is being used as a home office or spare room within the garden of your main house it falls under Permitted Development - a Development Enquiry still needs to be submitted to your Local Council to confirm this. If you are intending to rent the Hut, use it for commercial purposes, or site it on land out-with the curtilage of your house/garden, a Full Planning Application is usually required.

We can apply for any necessary Statutory Consents on your behalf.  We charge £500+Vat for a Pre-App/Development Enquiry and a further £1200+Vat per hut for submission of Full Planning (if required). Local Council application fees vary and are not included within this figure. For developments of more than 3no. Huts please enquire for fees. Any post-planning work will be charged at £50 per hour

  • Line drawing of an assembled dollhouse with six walls, two with windows, and detailed door and window openings. Disassembled pieces are arranged around the main structure.

    STEP 3: ORDERING YOUR HUT

Once a site visit has been undertaken and your Statutory Consents have been granted, you can now order your Hut. Staged payments of 25% + VAT are taken monthly until completion.

Typically Huts take 4-6months from first deposit until delivery.  Any additional costs such as bespoke layouts, off grid equipment, decking, etc., will be charged extra.  After your first deposit we will invite you to our ANTA factory to choose your interior scheme and accessories.

  • STEP 4: PREPARING YOUR SITE

It is the customers responsibility to ensure their site is prepared for delivery of the ANTA Hut, however we will be available to give advice as necessary. Typically site preparations would include:

    - Access track to Hut site or provision for delivery by our truck/crane.

    - Services to site including water, electric and foul drainage. Off grid options available on request

    - Foundations. We generally recommend using Radix Ground Screws which minimise the use of concrete and disruption of your site. Approx £1500+VAT for installation of 8x screws required for 1x Hut and 1x timber deck - this price may vary depending on site location, soil type, etc. Site specific quotes to be sought for each project through https://radixgroup.co.uk/ground-screw/

  • A truck with a flatbed trailer carrying a small house with a gabled roof.

    STEP 5: DELIVERY

Once the Hut is finished at our Factory it will be loaded onto a lorry and delivered by one of our trusted transport partners. Delivery charges vary depending on location within Scotland and how accessible your Hut is within your site, therefore individual delivery solutions must be obtained for each project.

  • A black and white line drawing of a small shed with a gabled roof, side window, sliding door, and wooden deck extending from the front, viewed in perspective.

STEP 6: ADDITIONAL ITEMS AND SIGN OFF

With the finished Hut installed at your site all that is left is for any additional equipment to be built or installed (for example solar panels, timber decking, canopy, etc.). Any additional equipment and associated costs to be agreed at Step 3.

All Huts are tested and checked prior to delivery. Once delivered we will familiarise you with your Hut and complete a final check so that you can begin to enjoy it!
